In 2011 we issued seven new titles. We won our second national award for best translation, for Eli Doeze’s translation of the Flemish book "The Rose and the Boar" by Anne Provoost.  We marked the International day of children's literature, April 2, the birthday of Hans Christian Andersen, with the promotion of the Macedonian edition of Eoin Colfer’s book "The Legend of Spud Murphy," the first ever title published in Macedonia adapted for children with dyslexia. The young Slovenian author and artist Eva Petric was our special guest at the Skopje International Book Fair to promote the release of her IMPAC Dublin-nominated novel "They all Ate Sushi." And we continued our ongoing philanthropic activities by organizing a charity action for donating a book in which we collected 150 books from our readers. These were matched by a donation of 50 books from our own titles, and all books were ultimately donated to correctional homes for minors.
